  • M2 Prototype

    The second generation Mutant, click built from African Mahogany and Western Red Cedar, medications introduced three radical new additions:
    1. Bent and pre-assembled bracing.
    2. A perimeter sound hole.
    3. A tension rod to relieve back stretch.
    The bracing pattern turned out to be so stiff that one bar was  removed,  and about half of the remaining mass was shaved off. The result? A very loud, powerful and open sounding guitar, still in use today.
