Lap steel

This crazy beast has a 25” scale, a hollowed out body and solid brass bridge and nut that bolt to an internal steel rod! She’s strung with 15-56’s and is currently being retrofitted with a Bill Lawrence L-610 in the bridge. I’ve never seen a guitar command the attention of a room the way this thing does when plugged into a fender tube amp!
